Legends Brackets
Terms of Service
Effective September 29, 2026. These terms cover the Legends Brackets Discord application: Discord sign-in on legendsbrackets.com, and the bot that posts tournament matchups.
The service
Legends Brackets runs tournament brackets for Doginal Dogs Legends. Discord sign-in connects your Discord account to a bracket handle. The bot does not chat, read messages, or run on its own. When a tournament host clicks Announce in Discord, the site posts the open matchups in one channel the operator chose.
Linked players are tagged in that post. A player with no Discord link is shown by their bracket name. Someone waiting on an opponent is listed with TBD after their name. Byes are not posted.
Who may use it
You must be allowed to use Discord. Discord’s own terms and the Discord Developer Policy also apply. If you are under the age Discord requires for an account, do not sign in and do not use the bot.
Your account
Signing in with Discord lets the site store the Discord identity Discord returns for that login, plus the bracket handle you use on Legends Brackets. You are responsible for the handle you choose and for the tournaments you enter.
Entering a bracket with a linked Discord account means a host may announce that matchup and tag you. If you do not want to be tagged, do not link Discord to that entry, or ask the operator to remove the link.
Hosts
A host may announce matchups only for a tournament they run on Legends Brackets. Do not use the button to spam a channel, mention people who are not in the bracket, or post anything other than the matchup list the site builds. The bot does not use @everyone or @here.
Acceptable use
- Follow Discord’s terms and the rules of the server where the bot is installed.
- Do not use the service to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
- Do not try to break, scrape, or misuse the site or the bot token.
- Do not post unlawful content through a tournament name, handle, or announcement.
Stopping the service
The operator may remove the bot from a server, turn announcements off, or refuse a sign-in that breaks these terms or Discord’s rules. A server admin can kick the bot at any time. That does not by itself delete a Legends Brackets account.
No warranty
The site and the bot are provided as available. Matchups, tags, and posts can be delayed, missing, or wrong if a host edits the bracket, Discord is down, or the bot cannot post in the channel. Tournament results on the website are the record of play. A Discord post is a notice, not the official result.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Legends Brackets is not liable for lost matches, missed tags, Discord outages, or disputes between players and hosts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes
These terms can be updated by changing this page. The date at the top is the current version. Continuing to sign in or to leave the bot in a server after a change means you accept the updated terms.
